Job Description


Star Asset Security, LLC, is a super-regional security systems integrator headquartered in Orlando, FL, with branch offices throughout the Southeast from Texas through to Virginia. We are hiring several Field Technicians within our footprint in the following areas:

Texas: Austin, Brownsville, Houston, San Antonio

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for executing service requests and maintaining federal government access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems at sites within their respective areas.
REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years working in the Physical Security Industry; installation, service, and/or project management
• Certified in at least two enterprise access control system manufacturers (Hirsch/Identiv, Software House, Avigilon, etc)
• Experienced in installing/servicing Video Surveillance Systems (Bosch, Milestone, Avigilon, etc.)
• Experienced in installing/servicing Intrusion Detection Systems (Bosch, Honeywell, DMP, DSC)
ABILITIES
• Program and troubleshoot advanced electronic control systems
• Effectively use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio
• Read blueprints and schematics
• Lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to see, hear, speak, read and write clearly in order to communicate with employees or other clients
• Manual dexterity required for reaching, climbing ladders, lifting objects, operating office equipment and hand-held power tools.
• Interact and communicate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels and across diverse cultures
• Must be a licensed driver with a clean 10-year driving record
• Must be willing and able to travel within 2-6 hours of primary assigned jobsite.
• Occasional overnight travel required for remote site service and/or technical training.
