SUMMARY: Responsible for operating with minimal supervision while performing fire protection inspections and 24 hour service. Fire Alarm Inspector with healthcare facility experience is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Strong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes. FASA/BASA required, NICET II or NICET III preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered assuming individual pursues NICET education.
- Working knowledge of sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices and critical components.
- Able to perform testing and maintenance.
- Able to complete documentation as necessary.
- Able to coordinate between inspection deficiencies and service required to correct found deficiencies.
- Attend seminars from time to time to stay abreast of changing technology, installation and testing approaches.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
FASA/BASA required, NICET II preferred.
Healthcare facility fire alarm inspection experience is preferred.
High School diploma, technical or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid driver's license is required. Must meet the state requirements for Sprinkler and Alarm Inspections. FASA/BASA required, NICET II preferred.
