Job: Fire Alarm Technician, Facility Services Management Inc., Andews AFB, MD
Provides electrical services with specific responsibility for installing, repairing and/or replacing fire sprinkler systems and related equipment; maintaining a regular inspection schedule; documenting activities; assisting other skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available as needed.
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
As a Fire Alarm Technician you will be responsible for providing service, testing, and installation of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and associated equipment.
Complete all activities related to service and installation of fire protection systems
Complete fire sprinkler and pump testing documentation
Customer service, coordination, and communication
Technical project and administrative support
Ability to work independently or supervise others as required
Prepare work schedules, review plans or prints, and carry out assigned duties

Education and/or Experience
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
NICET Certification (Fire Sprinkler II)
Proficiency in MS Excel and email
Strong customer service skills and communication
Familiarity with NFPA 25 & 13 (National Fire Protection Association) and local codes
